Shannon Messenger with JC Cervantes

Love the Keepers of the Lost Cities series?  We have great news for you. Shannon Messenger is returning to the Kepler’s virtual stage to celebrate the paperback release of Unlocked, Book 8.5 of the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling Keeper of the Lost Cities series, which follows Sophie, a girl who discovers she's from another world that exists side by side with ours—and one that has given her amazing abilities.

The paperback edition includes an all new short story from Linh’s POV,  taking place immediately after the last chapters of the UNLOCKED novella—but before book 9.

The theme for this event is Behind the Series. Shannon will give an exclusive look into her writing process for the bestselling Keeper of the Lost Cities series, as well as sharing her secret idea journals and other exciting pieces of inspiration behind everyone's favorite scenes and characters.

Shannon will be chatting with J.C. Cervantes, the New York Times bestselling author of books for children and young adults, including the Storm Runner trilogy for Rick Riordan Presents and Tortilla Sun. Her books have appeared on national lists, including the American Booksellers Association New Voices, Barnes and Noble’s Best Young Reader Books, and Amazon’s Best Books of the Month. She has earned multiple awards and recognitions, including the New Mexico Book Award, the Zia Book Award, and the 2021 New Mexico Land of Enchantment Readers’ Choice Award.  Look out for her debut Young Adult novel, Flirting with Fate in April 2022.

Don’t wait - RSVP early to guarantee your spot in this webinar. Shannon’s presentations are always so much fun and sell out early. There will be exclusive goodies (to be announced later) with every ticket as well as a hand signed book plate. We cant wait.
