LOCATION AND PARKING
Where do the events take place?
Unless otherwise indicated all our events take place at Kepler’s Books in Menlo Park.
When should I arrive for the event?
Doors open one hour before the event’s start time. Seating is open so please arrive early for the best seats.
Where can I park?
There is plenty of free parking beneath the Menlo Center and in downtown Menlo Park. There is also paid parking at the Caltrain Station.
Are there any public transport options?
Yes, Kepler’s is just 2 minutes walk from the Menlo Park Caltrain station. You can check the train schedule here.
Where can I eat/drink before the event?
Cafe Borrone is a very popular spot next door to Kepler’s and is open every day except Tuesday.
TICKETING
I purchased a ticket and can no longer make it to the event. What is your refund policy?
We will refund tickets up to 7 days before the event on most occasions. If an event is canceled or postponed we will reach out to everyone who has purchased a ticket with next steps.
Can I give my ticket to someone else?
Yes! The person using the ticket should give the name of the ticket buyer at the door.
BOOKS
I registered with a book purchase. When will I receive my book?
For events that include a book purchase, in-person attendees will receive their book when they check in for the event.
What happens if I bought a ticket with a book but I’m not able to make the event?
If you are unable to make the event your book will be ready for collection at Kepler’s for up to one month. Please note that we cannot guarantee that books collected after the event will be signed. If you are unable to collect the book please call Kepler's Books at 650-324-4321 during business hours; they can either ship you the book ($11 Media Mail, $16.50 Priority) or donate the book on your behalf.
Will my book be signed and personalized?
The majority of our events are followed by a public signing, and authors are usually happy to personalize copies. If you are unable to stay for the signing we can usually arrange for attendees to leave with a signed book.
Will the author sign backlist titles?
Yes! Authors are usually happy to sign backlist titles.
