About the Speakers
Vinita Gupta cofounded Digital Link Corporation and served as chairperson and CE for nearly two decades, guiding the company from inception to its public listing. Digital Link was named in the Inc. 500 as one of America’s fastest-growing companies. She is a board member, retired Silicon Valley CEO, writer, and international bridge champion.
She holds a bachelor of engineering in electronics and communication from IIT Roorkee and a master’s in electrical engineering from UCLA. Her work resulted in two US patents in telecommunications.
Born in Lucknow, India, Vinita now resides in Woodside, California. She continues to write, compete, and explore new disciplines with curiosity and a bias for action. In her leisure time, she enjoys oil painting.
Shantanu Narayen joined Adobe in 1998 as vice president and general manager of its engineering technology group. He became president and COO in 2005, CEO in 2007, and chairman of the board in 2017. During his tenure as CEO, the company has achieved record revenue. He is vice chairman of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum and sits on the board of Pfizer. He previously served as a director of Dell and is a past member of the U.S. President’s Management Advisory Board.
