11:00am - 1:00pm: Gene Luen Yang: Interactive Presentation + Signing
Graphic novel lovers rejoice! National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature Gene Yang will be hosting an interactive presentation, followed by a signing. Best for readers between ages of 8-15, Gene will talk about how videogames can inspire storytelling. Pre-order books from this link.
1:15am - 2:00pm: Pet Portraits: A Kids Drawing Workshop with Illustoria Magazine
Illustoria, a print magazine for creative kids and their grownups, will be hosting a workshop on drawing pet portraits! Best for artists of all ages; families welcome.
2:00pm - 3:00pm: Author Signings
We're thrilled to have the award-winning author collective of Dave Eggers, Michael Chabon, Khaled Hosseini, R.O. Kwon, Vendela Vida, Daniel Gumbiner, and Rita Bullwinkel. Books for all authors will be available for purchase day of.
5:00pm - 6:00pm: Trivia
End your IBD with trivia at the happiest of hours - 5pm! We'll test your knowledge with questions about all things books and Kepler's. Prizes include gift cards and tickets to upcoming events.
